It's coming along slowly. I'm doing a Phase Outline for the first time. It's a bit odd for me-the few times I've outlined (I'm a true organic) I've gone over my plot in broad terms and sorta let the rest fall into place at the time. But this is so detailed. But for some odd reason I'm glad. I thought I'd never say that-that a road map is a good thing - b/c this story is gonna get complex.

I have 4 main story arcs; 4 POV characters, all in third person but one. I'm prolly about halfway through the outline. I still may post the first few chapters anyways, b/c they are pretty much done.

I'm very, very excited about this. :)

Survivor, the 2 yr novel, is also coming along slowly. I'm a tad bit stuck on some plot issues but I'm going to pound it out anyways. I can catch it in revision, or fix it once I'm further along. It's definitely getting intense for me.

My hand is doing ok. I haven't noticed any bad pain, just two days in the past week or so were bad. But at least i'm not taking motrin like water. That's a good thing. :)

Hopefully I'll post the first few chapters of Eternal Dance this week.

Glad to hear the writing is coming along well.. I'm going to start my novel soon. I know the outline.. obviously, since it's entirely based on my affair and the aftermath, but I really want to start in the middle. Have you ever just jumped right into a piece and then gone back after to write the beginning... would you recomend that? It's just that I have so much in my mind at the middle I need to get down on paper (well electronically.. lol), that I feel if I try to write a beginning (and right now I have NO IDEA where to start) I may just get bogged down.

Can't wait to read some of your chapters and glad your hand is doing better. :)

Hi Colleen....good to see you....I'd recommend just diving into it....because sensoring yourself or forcing yourself to write in a certain order just wouldn't work as well. Believe it or not, I used to never write anything in order ..I'd just write random scenes..whatever I was geeked to write about ....and then went from there. Remember, you can add things in later in the editing stage. Right now, you just wanna get the story and emotions down on paper. That's what I think.

I'm still working on my outline. Kinda scary, considered this is my 2nd outline EVER. :)

Well I did jump into the middle scene where I wanted to start, but i haven't written anything in a while.. I've been busy with work but I should get back to some writing. How is your outline and story going for you?
